End of Year Awards for Elementary Students

An elementary classroom with an Awards Ceremony Set Up. A red carpet leads to the stage and awards slide on the screen.

Hands down, my favorite Last Day of School tradition is our End of Year Awards Ceremony. I lay out the red (butcher paper) carpet, turn on the disco lights, cue the Hollywood Award Show music, and grab my microphone for announcing each student’s name. It’s a massive hit. And it just feels right as a way to end and celebrate our year together. Below I’ll tell you more about this precious tradition so you can bring it to life in your own classroom!

COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS! 🎅🏽 Your class will LOVE th COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS! 🎅🏽 Your class will LOVE these 12 Days of Christmas Kindness Challenges!🎄

Note: I also offer a “12 Days of Winter” resource with the same set up for those needing a Winter alternative! ❄️

The countdown consists of two main things:

1) Teacher Gifts (small, often free or inexpensive things for the class to look forward to daily.)

2) Kindness Challenges: brought by the “Kindness Elf!”

This elf is not like other elves kids may be used to. They bring a note each day with a Kindness Challenge for the class to complete! This helps the class focus on the joy of giving 🫶🏼

If you’re looking for something to keep your class engaged & EXCITED to be at school every day until break-this is for YOU.

Comment the word COUNTDOWN to be sent this resource link! 🎄

Let’s have a parade!! 🎈🦃 I’m so in love with this Let’s have a parade!! 🎈🦃 I’m so in love with this Balloons Over Broadway Unit and can finally share it with you!!

In this unit, students get to learn ALL about the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade AND THEN create their own balloons/have their own parade! This can be done in 5 or 7 school days (your choice!)

I have such fond memories of using this unit in the classroom with my 2nd graders. 🧡Shout out to my teammate, Hailee for introducing me to the butcher paper balloon concept-they turn out SO cute and are much easier to work with than actual balloons imo! 👏🏽👏🏽

Comment “balloon” and I’ll send you the link to the resource so you can learn more! 🔗

The “student photos” page is my favorite 🤣🍎 My Sub The “student photos” page is my favorite 🤣🍎 My Sub Binder resource has received a brand new look & I couldn’t love it more!

We added SO MANY new pages to give you all the options you could need for assembling your binder. This is a great thing to set up in advance so it’s ready for unexpected absences. BUT ALSO-take that personal day and get yourself a hot chocolate while you go Christmas shopping! ☕️👏🏽

Everything is editable in Canva and PowerPoint. 🫶🏼 Comment “binder” and I’ll send the link!
