End of Year Awards for Elementary Students

Hands down, my favorite Last Day of School tradition is our End of Year Awards Ceremony. I lay out the red (butcher paper) carpet, turn on the disco lights, cue the Hollywood Award Show music, and grab my microphone for announcing each student’s name. It’s a massive hit. The goal here is to recognize each students for the gifts they have. They don’t have to be the “most perfect” to receive an award. Everyone will be celebrated. You never know what a silly little award might do for that student’s confidence. ❤️

Want students & families to LOVE you before they m Want students & families to LOVE you before they meet you!? This is how!! ‼️👏🏼

Sending families a Welcome video is SO simple, but can make a MAJOR impact. Families have told me this video made their child feel so excited to come back to school (rather than just nervous!) 🥹🥰

You can share with families via a Google Drive link in an email or via a QR code on a welcome post card.

It will take less than 5 minutes of your time to film (I always do mine in 1-2 tries max!) and can mean more than you know.

Shoutout to Destiny @mrsmayteaches4th for sharing her welcome video with us!
