End of Year Awards for Elementary Students

Hands down, my favorite Last Day of School tradition is our End of Year Awards Ceremony. I lay out the red (butcher paper) carpet, turn on the disco lights, cue the Hollywood Award Show music, and grab my microphone for announcing each student’s name. It’s a massive hit. The week before break = time for a math snowball f The week before break = time for a math snowball fight! ❄️🩵 The students LOVE this!

How it Works:
✨Students each get a recording sheet and one snowball math problem to begin the game (6 math sets included!)
❄️They solve their problem, write the answer on the sheet, then crumple their snowball and wait by the rug (or other set open area in your room)
☃️On the teacher’s count, students toss their snowball onto the rug and wait to be dismissed to pick a new snowball
🌨️ They return to their desk to solve their new problem and repeat the process
⚠️They have to look out for yellow snow! This means they do a plank, tree pose, jumping jacks (or other exercise to get energy out!) during that round

At the end of the game, review the answers so students can see how many problems they answered correctly. It’s the best math review game!

Winter Class Party Stations! ❄️🩷🎉 These will be a Winter Class Party Stations! ❄️🩷🎉 These will be a hit with your students (& easy to manage for you!)

I’m the type A kind of teacher who loves class parties but also manageable chaos 😅

I typically split my students intro three groups and picked three stations (we usually did Bingo, Snacks or Cookie Decorating, & Snowball Toss.) I used Pin the Nose as an “Early Finisher” station.

I’ve added more station options & early finisher pages to my party kit to help make your party go as smooth as possible. 🥰

Comment PARTY below and I’ll send you the links! 🔗 Note: you have to be following me before you comment or your message will appear blank in your inbox!

Prefer a Christmas theme? I have that available, too! I’ll send you the separate link for that when you comment “Party.” 🎄
