The Welcome Video

Sometimes the simple stuff works. Sending out a student “Welcome Video” fits into this category effortlessly!

What is a “Welcome Video?”

A welcome video is a short 1–2 minute video that a teacher records and sends to their students prior to starting the school year. In the video, the teacher might introduce themselves, share a tour of the classroom, or share things about their class that might interest students.

End of Year Awards for Elementary Students

Hands down, my favorite Last Day of School tradition is our End of Year Awards Ceremony. I lay out the red (butcher paper) carpet, turn on the disco lights, cue the Hollywood Award Show music, and grab my microphone for announcing each student’s name. It’s a massive hit. And it just feels right as a […]

A little way to boost a student’s day: shout out c A little way to boost a student’s day: shout out cards 🩷❄️ I loved sending these home with my students!

As our class would end the day & students were packing their backpacks/picking up the room, I’d often take a moment to write a quick shout out. ✍🏼It takes 1-2 minutes of my time and can make a student’s entire day. 💕

Comment “shout out” if you’d like the link to this Winter set. ❄️☃️
